Although you may never have heard of some places, you will be amazed by their hidden wonders. Rest assured that even the places you know have their secrets.

Some wonders tell of special personalities like the dutch doctor and womens rights activist Aletta Jacobs, the messenger Oll Willm or the inventor of the picture postcard August Schwartz. In some of the wonders, you go on a historical search for traces in a castle, a monastery or in the city. On other routes you discover the importance of ore deposits, shipping, water power or textile production for economic development. The legends and stories of the white woman from the stone house in Bunderhee, the catfish in the Bad Zwischenahner Meer or the Osenzwergen in Hatten are mysterious as well.
